"Sweetie" ist ein US-amerikanischer Musical-Film aus dem Jahr 1929. Regie führte Frank Tuttle und das Drehbuch schrieben George Marion Jr. und Lloyd Corrigan. Hauptdarsteller des Films sind Nancy Carroll, Helen Kane, Stanley Smith, Jack Oakie und William Austin. Die Uraufführung des Films erfolgte am 2.11.1929. 

In der Oktober Ausgabe 1929 von Variety steht über den Film: "College life, according to box-office formula, is a delightful mixture of romance and play. Quartets singing under the elms, everybody rehearsing for the school musical comedy, and the big game with Oglethorpe only one day off. 'Sweetie' is that way. More than most collegian films, it adheres to the musical comedy idea of capers on the campus; and to overlook its appeal among the high school flaps and tolling Tillies is to overlook the predominant audience type. The picture is set for profit, its cinching draw being Nancy Carroll and Jack Oakie."
